Planning a wedding with bagpipes is easy when you find the right inspiration.
From our experience, this is usually how it goes.
Normally, with Weddings, the piper will play as guests arrive until just before the ceremony begins. Depending on the request of the bride and groom, the piper usually plays for one or the other- sometimes both. The piper remains in the same place as the soon-to-be newly wed walks down the aisle, or for a more majestic entrance, the piper can march down the aisle playing the wedding tune of your choice. The ceremony is then conducted, and after the bride and groom are pronounced husband and wife, the piper usually plays a faster, happy tune in celebration. As mentioned, from our experience, this is usually what happens, but we are always ready to work with you to plan your special day the way you see fit. Sometimes, we play during cocktail hour while pictures are being taken, and often, we pipe in the newly weds at the reception for a grand entrance. With a day as special as your wedding day, it is important to ensure quality of sound. Please have a listen to our sound files below to know what a professional bagpiper sounds like. We are also available to offer our suggestions, and run through any logistics necessary to make your experience the best it can be.
